Bowling is back at the Carson Lanes Family Fun Center and Gold Dust West Casino in Carson City.
Under the new provisions from the Nevada Gaming Commission, bowling alleys have instituted safety measures to keep families and guests safe. These safety measures include maximum lane capacity and sanitization of all equipment.
The Carson Lanes Family Fun Center, located on 4600 Snyder Ave., has reopened from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Bowling alleys are limited to every lane with a maximum of five people per lane to encourage social distancing. All counters, shoes, bowling balls, chairs, lockers and other equipment will be disinfected and sanitized after every guest use.
The arcade room inside the center also is limited to half capacity, but filled with prizes and games for kids of all ages. Wally’s Pizza and Subs, Alley’s Diner and Johnny Rockets are serving food and drinks inside the center, as well.

Gold Dust West-Carson City, located at 2171 E. William St., has reopened the Gold Dust West Bowling Center with new safety guidelines put in place. A maximum of five people will be held per lane and the arcade will be closed. Bowling center employees will be required to wash and sanitize their hands after touching any equipment.
According to the new safety procedures from Gold Dust West-Carson City, the front counter will be disinfected after every hour. Bowling shoes and lockers will be disinfected after every guest use. Bowling balls also will be sanitized after each guest use. All chairs and tables will be sanitized after each use as well as shared mechanical equipment.
Bowling center employees are required to keep a safe social distance of six feet from each other and wear masks and gloves with the rest of the casino. Additionally, a plexiglas barrier is installed at all front desk stations
The Bowling Pro Shop will comply with the general safety guidelines implemented by employees and guests.
